Taidetila Muijala

The third international Rauma Triennale exhibition, Enchanting Effort, opens to the public on 7th of June at Rauma Art Museum and Art Space Muijala.

It has its roots in the Baltic Sea Biennials held at Rauma Art Museum. Exhibited across both venues, Enchanting Effort brings together thirteen artists and artist groups who explore the theme of effort (‘vaiva’ in Finnish) in personal, critical and curious ways.

The collaboration between Rauma Art Museum and Taidetila Muijala aims to highlight the importance of new creative and bold initiatives for the accessibility of the art scene and local culture.

It emphasizes the importance of art in a rural environment, the effort and difficulty of an isolated location, but also the unique environment that can be achieved with effort.
