Surrounded by nature
As we are located at the edge of the village in the forest, you just have to step outside to be surrounded by nature. In the yard you can encounter beautiful plants, mustrooms and animals. You can see many squirrels, birds, deer, frogs, salamanders, rabbits and insects.

Hierkonpolku
Right beside our land starts the Hierkonpolku trail, an easy to follow trail that wanders between the forest and the sea. On the way are several beaches and two fireplaces where you can grill. The trail leads you through the wonderfully preserved nature reservation area towards the open sea.

Swamps
Highly recommended is also to visit one of the many swamps. These vast quiet areas make a great day excursion, but only go there under the guidance of an experienced person who knows the area.

Other
There are plenty more nature sights nearby. You can climb the Rihtniemennokka Bird Watching Tower and have a great overview over the sea. You can visit the medieval stone circle Vihitynmaanrinki and wander over the cliffs behind it. In Rauma you can have a panoramic view when you climb the Kokkovuori rocky hill and near Varhokylä you can visit the rock formation Pahojärven piilokirkko.
